Last week we talked about Usher’s “Here I Stand” getting the full bittorrent treatment. Over half a million downloads of the song where tracked by online media measurement company, BigChampagne. But that didn’t effect the HUGE sales for Usher’s album. Usher comes in at #1 this week with the best sales so far of 2008 with 433,000 U.S. copies sold.
So your boy Lil’ Wayne is also getting the bittorrent treatment. His album is all over the web and being downloaded at a high rate. Will Lil’ Wayne have the same success as Usher?
