Usher got a good taste of what Broadway was like with his run as Billy Flynn in Chicago. But now he’s considering a return to the Great White Way with a new play called “Golden Boy.” It a revival of a 1964 music based on Clifford Odets play. Usher would play a role which was first done by the legendary Sammy Davis Jr. The show wasn’t well received during it’s 1964 run and critics and writers agree that the script would need major tweaking to meet todays audiences and taste. Usher is currently in negotiations for this play but nothing has been signed or confirmed as of yet.
