Rihanna’s Efforts Helps Find Bone Marrow Donor for Fan

About a week ago we told you about Rihanna and her helping DKMS, world’s largest non-profit marrow donor center, to find a bone marrow donor for a sick fan. Well looks like the efforts have paid off. Over 2000 new donors registered from seeing the call from Rihanna. And luckily Lisa Gershowitz-Flynn was able to find a donor who is a match.

  • Rihanna isn’t the only one helping Jasmina. Her best friend, Isabelle Huurman, also 5, and her mother, Karen Detrick, made a touching video (above) to help "find the one for Jasmina." The two little girls became friends through their mothers, who met at a cocktail party when the children were two and learned that they had adopted their girls from the same adoption agency.
