Casting Call: CNN Seeking Professional Black Males for Documentaries on Being Black In America

CNN’s documentary unit, CNN Productions, is currently working on a series of two hour specials on being black in America. These specials are to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King. There are three documentaries: Black Men in America, Black Women and Family, and the King Assassination. We are profiling several African Americans for our documentary and are looking for young black professionals to possibly participate. Considering the large amount of access the National Black MBA Association has to successful and promising young black professionals, we believe your organization can help us find the right people to profile. Specifically, we would like to profile a young black male in his mid to late 20’s or early 30’s. Also, some one who works in a “visually interesting” field or environment is important as well. We would greatly appreciate it if you could send a mass email to your members about our project. All those who are interested in participating or have any questions/concerns can contact me directly. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me using the email or number below. I am more than happy to iron out any and all details.

Thank you,

Brandon Clements
