If for some reason you find that your name is not on the voter list when you get to the polls here is what you have the right to do:
1. Ask the poll worker to check the list again and to confirm that you are at the right polling place.
2. If your name does not appear on the list then ask for an affidavit ballot. An Affidavit ballot is used when a voter’s name has been omitted from the computer generated pollbooks. These voters must swear that they are a registered voter and provide current and previous address, and at a primary election must include the party in which he/she is enrolled.
