MTV Cuts 50 Cent’s Reality TV Show “The Money and the Power”

MTV has given the axe to 50 Cent’s reality TV show “The Money and Power” due to low ratings. The show was focusing on finding the next Hip-Hop power player but the poor quality of the show and lack of marketing cause it to tank big time. The show debuted in November but no one was really interested in the show. But this isn’t the end of reality TV for MTV. They have ordered up some 16 new reality TV shows for 2009. So expected to see more hits and misses in reality TV for 2009.
