BET Announces New TV Shows

BET has announced the following new shows and programs:

“Pressure Cooker” – a documentary on a North Philadelphia cooking school.
“Everybody Hates Chris” is now coming to the network
“We Are Family”, a reality show starring actor Terry Crews and his family.
“Monica: Still Standing”, a reality show about R&B artist Monica’s return to the business.
“First In”, a reality show about Firefighters in South Central Los Angeles
“Changing Lanes”, a show that will document Black participation in NASCAR, is offering unprecedented access and perspective on racing.

Also, special news programs:
“Heart of the City”
“The Bottom Line”, with Jeff Johnson.

MC Lyte, who was present, will host a makeover show entitled “The Hollywood Treatment”.

The network also confirmed the return of The BET Hip Hop Awards, Rip the Runway, The BET Awards, BET Honors, and Spring Bling.
And they have confirmed that actress Mo’Nique will make her late night debut with “The Mo’Nique Show”.

Other shows were announced, including new game shows like “Pay It Off”, “Bring Your A Game”, a gaming show produced by Mario Van Peebles, and a Gospel influenced comedy show called “A Time To Laugh”.

The announcements were followed by an exclusive performance by Grammy Award winning R&B artist Anita Baker.
