Chez Lucienne Serves Up Style and Delicious Food to Bloggers in Harlem

by GreasyGuide on October 21, 2009

Last night I was an invited guest by the lovely Kitty Bradshaw
(http://kittybradshaw.com) to a bloggers event at Chez Lucienne
(http://ChezLucienne.com) in Harlem. I’ve been to Chez Lucienne before
for brunch but this was my first time having their dinner menu. Chez
Lucienne is located at 308 Lenox Ave and 125th st right by the 2/3
train. The service was on point, something missing at alot of Harlem
spots, and the food was excellent.

Here’s what I had:

Appetizer: Traditionnelle Quiche – Lorraine classic quiche Lorraine
with bacon and cheese.

My thoughts: Now the Waiter told me he wished this was a bigger
portion serving but I thought it was the perfect size. The crust was
buttery and crispy and the cheese and bacon filling was good. I wish
it had a big more bacon but I love a ton of bacon. So you can
understand that I want bacon on everything.

Entrées: Linguinis Aux Crevettes – sautéed shrimps with linguini and
garlic sauce.

My thoughts: YUMMO! I loved anything with shrimp and I was not
disappointed with this dish. I loved the creamy and rich sauce and the
grill shrimp where perfectly cooked. This is a must have if you are a
seafood lover like me.

Dessert: Crème Brulee a la Vanille – traditional vanilla crème brulee

My thoughts: I love my crème brulee and I gobbled this DOWN! I do like
my brulee a bit warmer then this was served but overall it was good.

Overall thoughts: Chez Lucienne is a great place to visit if your
coming Uptown. It’s classy, sexy, and the service is on point. The
food is excellent and if you’ve never tried French Food before then
you won’t be disappointed in anything on the menu. Check out some pics
