VitaminWater Launches Social Media Inspired “Connect” flavor

Way back in September Vitamin Water launched a social media campaign
to help find a new flavor. Well the contest is over and the winners
have been announce. But what’s even cooler is the the new flavor is
inspired by social media. More than 116K unique users participated in
the online flavorcreator lab.

Say hello to vitaminwater connect! vitaminwater connect is a black
cherry-lime flavor made with caffeine and 8 key nutrients.

Sarah from Illinois (grand prize winner), David from Ohio, Regina from
Ohio, Leah from California, Angie from Florida). The grand prize
winner and four finalists were chosen with a little help from some
friends of vitaminwater – Carrie Underwood (who is well aware of
America’s fascination with voting for their favorites) and 50 Cent
(the first to co-create his own variety – formula 50).

All five winners were each awarded a $5,000 prize. Connect will be
available in stores nationwide in March 2010. Visit
