After 72 hours standing within a sphere of 1 million volts of
electricity, David Blaine will complete his most daring challenge in
New York City at 8:40PM. Tonight, master magician and performer David
Blaine will complete the unprecedented when he reaches the conclusion
of ELECTRIFIED, a performance inspired by Intel’s Ultrabook. For three
days and three nights, David Blaine stood surrounded by 1 million
volts of electricity with no food or sleep. The volts were generated
by the public who controlled the direction and intensity of the light
and sound emitted by the tesla coils through Ultrabook devices in
stations in New York, London, Beijing, Sydney, and Tokyo, along with
the use of the #Electrified hashtag.
