Ever since Michelle Obama‘s appearance on The View, the designer of her dress have been flooded with orders for Michelle’s dress. Donna Ricco has been overwheled with oders for the black-and-white leaf-print dress, which is available for $99 on her Web site www.donnaricco.com, but was picked up by Mrs. Obama at the White House Black Market store for $148.

Meanwhile in Milan Donetella Versace used Barack Obama‘s fashion as inspiration for her 2008/2009 mens collection. Dontella called Barack “the man of the moment” and Calling Obama “the man of the moment,” Versace said the new line was designed for “a relaxed man who doesn’t need to flex muscles to show he has power.”

Clyburn requesting that he encourage the Congressional Black Caucus to urge Senator Obama to select Senator Clinton as his Vice Presidential running mate. And we want to know why does Bob Johnson have his nose up all in the Kool-Aid when he clearly stated a few months ago that he was not an Obama supporter.

Bob Johnson needs to stay out of this and let Obama and his team decided who their running mate will be on his own. It’s not fair for outside forces to try and influence what Obama is going to do, espically from people who where not very supportive of his campaign from jump street.

As we all know, Bob Johnson is not respected in the Black community. His creation of BET and many of the negative portrayals of Black women on TV make his association an uneasy one for any campaign. He already hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign with his remakers about Obama which he later had to apologise for. Now he’s try to ride other to get Obama to do what he wants to do.

As she ends her campaign for US President the big question is…will Obama ask her to be his running mate or will someone else like a John Edwards get asked to join the Obama team? Hillary Clinton put up a good fight but it wasn’t enough.

Actress Gina Gershon, made famous for her role as Las Vegas stage star Crystal Conners in Showgirls, is mad as hell today as claims that she and former US President Bill Clinton where doing it and doing it and doing it well.

“Through the innuendo-laden assertion that Ms. Gershon has been ‘visiting’ with President Clinton in California, the article outrageously insinuates that Ms. Gershon has had an inappropriate sexual relationship with President Clinton. This is absolutely false … and she is extremely offended by the false and defamatory inference that she engaged in an adulterous relationship with the president,” reads a letter from Gershon’s attorney Lynda B. Goldman of Lavely & Singer law firm.

Gershon is demanding that the statment made about her int he Vanity Fair article be retracted asap and a apology issued.
